# Taramea Pottery

> I make functional stoneware from a small studio behind the house on Rocks Highway, most of it fired in a wood kiln out the back. The gallery is open most days but it pays to ring ahead if you're coming from out of town.

Based in 14 Rocks Highway, Riverton.

## About

I trained in Dunedin and worked for a production potter there for six years before moving down to Riverton with my family. Most days you'll find me at the wheel or splitting wood for the kiln, and the shelves change as pieces come out of the firing.
